Company CEO, Mike Duval, founded X-Treme Toyz in 1999. Originally, his intention was to use the company as a medium for his direct dealings with Major vehicle manufacturers to design and build vehicles for the prestigious annual SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, so many people requested the original "one-off" parts on his trucks that Mike had to change his original "low-profile" plans.

Mike has always built his projects as "lifestyle" vehicles, targeting the "weekend warriors" as well as the hardcore enthusiasts who want a vehicle that’s fully functional and capable of tackling whatever environment they encounter. Having been in the off-road vehicle building and accessory business for over 30 years, Mike wasn’t really interested in starting a new business. So in 2000, he decided the best way to bring his ideas to life was to work with the many recognized product manufacturers he deals with on a consulting basis. Through these relationships, many X-Treme Toyz’ designed products have found there way into the marketplace.

That was 8 years ago. Today, Mike continues to design accessories as well as design and assemble custom vehicles for the annual SEMA show. He continues working as a part-time consultant to several aftermarket manufacturers. Mike also maintains an active involvement with all the major trade publications, assisting with technical articles and features as well as providing valuable feedback to manufacturers.
